Privacy Law and Data

The process of preventing essential data from becoming corrupted, lost, or otherwise compromised is referred to as "data protection".

The creation and storage of an ever-increasing amount of data has led to an increase in the significance of data protection in today's world. The laws and regulations that are relevant to the protection of personal data are continually updated.

It is a best practise for all business owners, employers, employees, and enterprises, regardless of size, to be knowledgeable of the rules and regulations pertaining to the protection of personal data.

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, making unauthorised use of the private information of another person can be considered a criminal offence in Malaysia.
